Direct mail for roofing companies
Roofing postcards.
Start with the homes nearby.
Mailbox Magic designs, prints and mails roofing postcards to your customer list, homes around a job site, or whole USPS routes with Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM). Choose the audience, review the total and give homeowners one clear next step.
Roofing postcard design and campaign examples

A roof you just completed
Use a finished-project photo you have permission to share. Introduce your company to nearby homes and offer an inspection or estimate. Mail nearest neighbors selects 25 to 5,000 closest homes around the job address, with homeowners-only or every-home targeting.
A roof inspection offer
Explain what the inspection includes, your service area and how to request it. Use a QR code or your website as the next step. Do not claim storm damage or insurance coverage you have not verified.
Past-customer follow-up
Send addressed postcards to an existing customer list for maintenance reminders or seasonal check-ins. Automations support drip sequences and recurring mailings; match the schedule to your actual availability.
EDDM vs. targeted postcards
Whole postal routes
EDDM reaches residential addresses on selected USPS routes, with the option to include businesses. No purchased list is needed. You cannot pick individual homeowners or filter homes by property value within a route.
For neighborhood-wide offers.
Neighbors around a job
Center a campaign on a job site or listing and choose nearby homes, with a homeowners-only option. Mailbox Magic selects the audience; you do not purchase a saved contact list.
Priced at your plan’s 6×11 First Class rate.
Your own contact list
Send addressed postcards to individual customers from an uploaded or purchased list. Purchased homeowner records can use property and demographic filters; record purchases are charged separately from mailing.
For personal follow-ups and repeat campaigns.

Addressed postcards come in 4×6, 6×9 and 6×11. 4×6 always uses First Class; larger cards offer Standard or First Class. Allow for production and postal transit before setting an offer’s expiry date.
Start from a template, upload artwork or approve AI-written copy before generating artwork. Choose editable wording or text rendered into the image. Your logo remains a separate movable layer. AI image generation can incur a separate charge.
Recipient street, panoramic and overhead property photos are included on every plan where imagery is available. Optional roof-data and flyover services are separate. A property photo is not a roof inspection or evidence of damage.
Do roofing postcards pay off?
There is no guaranteed response rate. For addressed campaigns, unique QR codes and personal links can attribute scans and visits to recipients. Your Results page brings together campaign costs and attributed leads. Scans and visits are engagement—not booked jobs or proof of delivery.
Compare mailing spend with qualified inquiries, booked inspections and jobs you actually win. Include list purchases and optional services in your budget. A whole-route EDDM campaign does not provide individual-recipient scan or delivery reporting.
Use delivery updates where available to follow addressed mail; postal status is not proof that a homeowner read the card. Keep your offer and destination consistent so responses are easier to interpret.
